Over the nearly three years they have been playing together, Stone Zero has expanded their shows from a grunge-focused setlist played in the corner of a bar to a limitless selection of songs played with an energy that was purposefully curated for a big stage. Launching onto the Philly/South Jersey scene in a big way is Stone Zero, a high-energy rock band built for packed rooms and rowdy audiences. Blending driving guitar riffs, explosive rhythms, and raw vocals, the band delivers a modern rock sound that pulls from classic hard rock roots while bringing a fresh intensity to every stage they hit.

Though new to the scene, Stone Zero has been shaping and refining their live sound since the summer of 2022. Starting by jamming together in the summer of 2020 during the midst of the pandemic, it was not until May 2022 that the official lineup came together. Today, Stone Zero consists of:

A multi-instrumentalist, Charlie is the lead singer and frontman of Stone Zero. As the son of Kevin Hug, the lead guitarist of the iconic Bonehead, he was raised around music and had no choice but to forge a path of his own. After spending years focusing on his lead guitar playing, Charlie was thrust into the role of lead singer and has never looked back. His grunge-powered vocals have drawn him countless comparisons to Eddie Vedder and the lead men of the 90’s, but he has quickly expanded his range to cover all genres, including country and modern radio hits. Whether he is improvising high-energy solos or commanding the crowd on the mic, Charlie brings an energy and passion to every show that keeps crowds alive with every song.

The “new guy” of the group, Jordan was the last member to officially join the band in May of 2022. What started as a rhythm guitar role quickly developed into a two-headed monster on stage, with Jordan rivaling Charlie’s solos with a blues tenacity that he blends seamlessly into any genre. However, his greatest strength comes in his background harmonies, often garnering the band's most consistent compliments. Since picking up the mic during shows to sing lead vocals as well, Jordan has established himself as one of the most versatile musicians in the area.

Kellan Sweeney

The younger brother of Sheamus, Kellan rounds out the rhythm section in a way that only brothers could. Instinctively on the same page every show, Kellan drives the band with his no-nonsense technique, making sure every note is played to perfection. As stoic as they come, Kellan has drawn a love from fans for his on-stage presence, head-banging and vibing like no one is watching. The quiet one of the group, Kellan lets his playing do the talking and leaves it all out on the stage from night to night.

The true definition of what it means to bring grit and power to a rhythm section, Sheamus leaves no questions unanswered as to where he draws his inspiration from. From the first song to the last, he plays with a ferocity like that of John Bonham and nails lightning-fast fills like those of Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins. However, it is when he steps in front of the kit to unleash lead vocals on songs like “Man in the Box” or “Rock and Roll” that leaves the crowd in awe. Although hidden behind the drum kit, Sheamus’s energy can be felt from the furthest corners of the room.
